 | 5th May 2009 | Mega Coal Train
Pacific National are trialling 60-wagon coal trains on the Mudgee line coalies with 6 locos over the mountains and the usual 4 locos between Lithgow and the mine.
I was too sick to photograph the first run (and it was after dark!) but the second run is featured here. My mate Mick drove both trials from Lithgow to the mine and back again.

Michelle wanted me to show her what it looks like when a ship leaves or enters port. After a year of dropping by the harbour for a look, we finally found the Illawarra Chief coming in.
